In order to treat your pet to the best of our ability, we need to learn as much as we can about them! When scheduling an appointment at our hospital with Dr. Leonard, please provide all of the information you can about your pet. That includes any previous medical history, the name of the food you feed your pet, and the names of all medications or supplements your pet is being given.
General Info
Payment is due and payable at the time of service. For your convenience, we do accept cash, Visa, American Express, Master Card, Discover, and CareCredit.
Pet insurance requires the veterinarian to be paid at the time of service. After a claim is filed with the insurance company you are reimbursed according to your pets’ policy. We will happily assist you with the filing of insurance claims for your pet’s veterinary care.
Please bring your pets insurance claim forms and any other information regarding your pet’s insurance coverage.
Our office offers emergency service during regular office hours. In the case of emergency, contact our office immediately. Providing us with information about your pet’s emergency situation will prepare our team to respond to your pets needs immediately upon arrival. Non-emergency visits are by appointments. Please call our office to schedule a convenient time.
If you have an emergency after our regular business hours, call 916-686-6414. Our veterinarian on-call will discuss your pets’ emergency situation and advise you on the best course of action. This service is available after normal hours of operation, 7 days a week.
