Our story began when Dr. Stephen Leonard founded Grantline Veterinary Hospital with the vision of offering comprehensive and compassionate medicine, surgery, and preventative care for pets of all ages. Building long-lasting relationships with pet owners throughout the Elk Grove community has been our mission from the start.
In 1983, Dr. Leonard established Grantline Veterinary Hospital as a place where pets would receive complete and compassionate care. Over the course of more than 30 years, Dr. Leonard served our community, forming deep connections with clients and their furry companions. In 2023, Dr. Leonard retired, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and a commitment to exceptional veterinary care.
While Dr. Leonard may have stepped away, the dedicated team at Grantline Veterinary Hospital continues to uphold his goals and values. In 2023, Dr. Erin Catching and Dr. Leslie Silva joined our practice, bringing their passion for veterinary medicine and love for the Elk Grove community. Together with our highly trained team, Dr. Silva and Dr. Catching offer a wide range of services, including Fear Free Visits, Wellness Care, Medical and Surgical Services, Chiropractic, and Urgent Care.
Today, Grantline Veterinary Hospital remains the oldest privately owned veterinary hospital in Elk Grove, CA. Our state-of-the-art facility, which underwent a significant remodel and expansion in 1991, spans 5000 square feet and is equipped with cutting-edge technology. With advanced resources such as a surgical laser and video-otoendoscope, we continue to provide exceptional medical, surgical, and preventative care for dogs and cats.
